Yuriy & Viktoriya Mayba

Yuriy and Viktoriya Mayba, both of whom grew up in the Seattle, Washington area, met as teenagers at a church in Kent. It was in this environment that they each forged a deeply personal relationship with God, leading them to wholeheartedly pursue His calling for their lives. Married for 25 years, they have created a loving family that includes three children: Lana, who is married to Donnie Grosskopf; their son, Michael; and their youngest, Melanie. Yuriy offers a distinctive combination of business acumen and ministry leadership, having spent nearly a decade touring with a Christian ministry band while managing several businesses.mitted to ministry for over 25 years, he has been joined by Viktoriya in this journey. In 2009, the Maybas relocated to Oklahoma to attend the RHEMA Bible Training, embarking on a period of significant spiritual development. In 2017, they responded to God’s call to plant Watershed Community Church in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, which has since evolved into a thriving faith community. Their vision is both straightforward and impactful: to prioritize God first and family second, with a dedicated focus on empowering the next generation, rooted in the belief that a healthy church begins at home, where Christ is central.

Our Beliefs & Values

We are protected by Elders

The elders have responsibility for the oversight of the church body and the shepherding of its members, and shall have ultimate responsibility for managing the affairs of the church. While the staff directs the various ministries of the church, the elders provide the overarching protection of the body.

We are guided by Pastors

The Pastoral staff team is led by the Senior Pastors. This team oversees the day-to-day ministry and operations of the church. These staff pastors serve the congregation and are responsible for the development of the spiritual life of the church.

Our Senior Pastor leadership team members serve as staff elders.

We are supported by Trustees

The Trustees are members of the congregation who oversee the finances and direct the provision of the facilities needed by the church. They provide counsel to the Senior Pastor Leadership team regarding the major financial commitments of the church.

We are supported by Overseers

The Overseers are three pastors of nationally respected congregations and ministries who love Watershed Community and are willing to provide spiritual protection to the church. They may be called in to help in accountability matters relating to the Senior Pastor if requested by the Pastors or Elders. The Overseers serve as Apostolic Elders.
